Administrative Team

Mallory Fauteux Calamare
Membership Coordinator

Mallory joined the Club in October 2018 as Membership Coordinator.   She also worked at the Club about ten years ago. Mallory grew up on the Island along with her entire family.  She graduated from MVRHS and attended Mount Ida College majoring in veterinary technician and Salem State University where she majored in Social Work. Mallory enjoys working at the Club because it is vital to the youth of MV and she is committed to making it the best experience possible for the members.  She loves horseback riding, reading and anything involving animals.  She and her husband live in Edgartown with their baby daughter Aubrey, a female dog named Charlie and Skipper the bunny.

Jessie Damroth
Chief Executive Officer

Jessie joined the Club as CEO in September 2016. She has over ten years of experience in higher-education fundraising and development, most recently at Williams College in Massachusetts and previously at Duke University in North Carolina.  Jessie grew up in Chilmark, attending both the Chilmark School and the West Tisbury School. She is a graduate of American University and has a non-profit management certificate from Duke University. Jessie has two children, son Logan and daughter Ayden.

Chris Roberts
Program Director

Chris joined the Club as Program Director in May 2018, but he was a volunteer for several years before then as a basketball coach.  He enjoys being part of the Club because he finds nothing more inspiring than watching a kid work hard and achieve what they have been working for.  Chris grew up as part of a military family and has traveled throughout Europe and lived in many states.  He graduated from Hayfield High School in Alexandria, Virginia, earned a BFA in Theatre from Southern Methodist University and an MFA from Columbia University.  Chris enjoyed all sports as a kid and played basketball and football in high school.  He also loves theatre and has been fortunate to work professionally in the theater with some amazing artists, many of whom live and work regularly on the Vineyard. His hobbies now revolve around whatever his children are interested in.  In addition to the MVBGC Chris has been active in the Island community and was on the Board of Directors for MV Little League for 6 years (President, Vice President, Secretary), and coached Island youth in Baseball, Basketball, Flag Football and Soccer.  He and his wife Elle Lash moved to the Vineyard in 2007 and live in West Tisbury with their son Tobey and daughter Carlotta.

Stacy Smith
Office Manager

Stacey began working at the Club as Office Manager in September 2017.  She grew up on MV and except for a few years away has lived here full time. She graduated from MVRHS and attended classes at Cape Cod Community College.  During her time on the Island Stacey worked as an EMT, a Certified Pharmacy Tech and a CNA at Windmere. She is deeply committed to the community and assisting the elderly and youth of MV.  Working at the Club allows her to make a positive impact on the lives of the children in the community and she believes they are the future of the Island.  She is the mother of twin daughters, Anabelle and Maddison, who both love being part of the Club.
