131 North Water Street
Edgartown, MA 02539
A time-honored tradition, Edgartown’s version of tree lighting is full of seaside village charm. Join the MV Museum for the annual holiday lighting of the Edgartown Lighthouse at 6 pm.
Just off North Water Street overlooking the lighthouse, sing along with Beacon of Hope’s “Christmas Choir” beginning at 5:45 PM. They will lead us in some festive carols as we wait for Boys & Girls Club kids and the MV Museum to hit the switch at 6:00 PM sharp!
You can view the lighting from Lighthouse Beach or many other locations. Regardless of the place you and your family choose, please follow health and safety guidelines and practice social distancing.
If you wish to watch the lighting from the Harbor View Hotel, you must make reservations with Bettini Restaurant. The Museum extends special thanks to Tom Bassett and his crew for volunteering their time to string the holiday lights every year.
