The mission of the Martha’s Vineyard Boys & Girls Club is to provide quality programs, education, and services to the Island-wide youth population that will prepare them for healthy and productive lives through professionally developed programs that help to develop self-esteem, leadership skills, personal values, and mutual respect, in a fun and safe environment.

Afterschool Program Staff

Afterschool Program Staff are directly responsible for facilitating age-appropriate activities and services for school-aged children. Engage our members in targeted youth development opportunities focused on delivering out-of-school time learning and academic enrichment, character and leadership, life and social skills, sports and recreation, and social-emotional health and wellness programs. Program staff serve as mentors and trusted adults who help to ensure the Club is a safe and nurturing environment for children which encourages their social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development. This is a part-time position with opportunity for flexible hours and days.

Club Camp Counselors

Club Camp counselors provide leadership, encouragement, guidance, and supervision to a group of campers in a range of daily activities. Play like a kid while offering local youth their best summer yet through professionally developed programming. This is a temporary, seasonal position. Hours are approximately 8:30am-4:30pm, Monday through Friday. Paid training begins June 26 and candidates should be available until August 18.
