Second Hand Store Team

Stacey Smith
Unit Director

Stacey began working at the Club as Office Manager in September 2017 and in 2019 was named Interim Manager of the Martha's Vineyard Boys & Girls Club Second Hand Store.  She grew up on Martha's Vineyard and except for a few years away has lived here full time. She graduated from MVRHS and attended classes at Cape Cod Community College.  During her time on the Island Stacey worked as an EMT, a Certified Pharmacy Tech and a CNA at Windmere. She is deeply committed to the community and assisting the elderly and Island youth.  Working at the Club allows her to make a positive impact on the lives of the children in the community and she believes they are the future of the Island.  She is the proud mother of twin daughters, Anabelle and Maddison.

Alissa Keenan
Sales Associate

Alissa began working at the Second Hand Store around 2014. She feels honored to be a part of “the shop” because it helps people from all facets of the community, whether they are shoppers, donors or visitors. And one of the best aspects of the job is opening donations to discover what is inside, it is like having Christmas every day!  Alissa grew up in New York and Northeastern Mass and graduated from Darrow School in New Lebanon, NY.  She attended Rhode Island School of Design, focusing on ceramics.  She has been a Vineyard resident for over 30 years and is the owner of MV Baby Rental. In high school Alissa played softball and is the proud recipient of a bowling trophy awarded not for skill or improvement, but for enthusiasm.  She still shares that enthusiasm at the shop where she “learns something new every day.” She enjoys spending time with her family and dogs, reading and traveling.  She and her husband Andrew are the parents of two daughters, Alice and Anna.
